INTELLIGENT COMPUTERS AND IBM MICROELECTRONICS DIVISION ANNOUNCE
RELATIONSHIP; AMERIGO/BLUE LIGHTNING SYSTEMS INTRODUCED

Fremont, Calif., July 26, 1994 -- Intelligent Computers and Technologies
has established a special relationship with IBM Microelectronics Division,
according to an announcement from Baber Hamirani, CEO and President,
Intelligent. Intelligent premiered its Amerigo product line at PC Expo/New
York in June, 1994 at the IBM booth. "The relationship between IBM
Microelectronics Division and ICT," said Hamirani, "is shaping up as a
model that IBM can replicate with other system integrators."

The arrangement enables Intelligent to take IBM products to the marketplace
as a market builder through Intelligent's marketing and sales methods and
well-established relationships with major regional retailers nationwide
who already carry the Amerigo line in more than 300 locations. The Amerigo
systems based on IBM Blue Lightning processors arguably represent the
leading technology in the 486 class, featuring CPU speeds of 25 to 75MHz,
40 to 80MHz and 33 to 100MHz, with 16KB internal cache memory.

The systems come with Microsoft DOS and Windows for Workgroups, Works,
Money, Publisher and other titles all preloaded and configured, 210 to 510
MB hard disk storage and 4 to 8 MB of RAM. Cache memory is available
ranging from 16KB on the CPU to an external 512KB cache, twice as large as
most systems. Multimedia systems include dual speed CD-ROM drive, 16-bit
sound card, microphone, speakers, sound system software and CD-ROM titles
Encarta, PC Golf, Dinosaurs and others.

In making the announcement, Hamirani said, "We believe our relationship
with IBM Microelectronics and the design of their Blue Lightning
microprocessor and motherboards offer significant cost and performance
advantages over currently available 486 technology. Because the
motherboards are manufactured in America in IBM factories for the Amerigo
line, we are able to ensure greater reliability and quality for the user."
The Amerigo line offers low energy use and high performance, including
clock doubling or tripling, allowing the processor to operate at two or
three times the usual system clock speed.

Intelligent offers a complete line of versatile, high performance desktop
and deskside computers made in the U.S. and marketed through such
retailers as Computer City, Remco America, Sun TV, Smith's Home
Furnishings, Computerland Express and others. Intelligent's brands include
Intelesys and Amerigo. Intelligent is located in Fremont, California and
is privately held.
