ARTISOFT STRENGTHENS CHANNEL PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Programs Based on Reseller Target Markets

(TUCSON, AZ--July 5, 1994)--Artisoft, Inc. announced today two new reseller
programs--the Artisoft Advantage Partner program and the Artisoft Premier
Partner program. Each program is tailored for a different type of reseller
target market. There is no initial or annual partnership fee for either
program.

"The programs are designed to strengthen the partnership we've developed
with our reseller channel," said Artisoft's Vice President of Marketing T.
Paul Thomas. "We're committed to giving them what they've told us they
need to respond to their customers and to operate a profitable business.
Our new programs were developed on two levels to better suit the different
business models that exist today."

Advantage Partners

Effective July 1,1994, the Advantage program replaced the Artisoft
Authorized Five Star resellers on June 30, 1994, automatically became
Artisoft Advantage Partners, without going through an application process.
Only new resellers must apply to become an Artisoft Advantage Partner.
Advantage Partners are qualified, value-added resellers who agree to sell
at least $10,000 in Artisoft and Eagle Technology products annually.
Partners in this group primarily serve the small- to medium-size business
market.

Premier Partners

Artisoft Premier Partners are network integrators and corporate resellers
who primarily serve the mid- to large-size business market. Partners in
this group agree to sell annually at least $100,000 ($50,000 in the
program's inaugural year) of Artisoft and Eagle Technology products.
Premier Partners must also employ a technician certified by Artisoft (when
Artisoft's certified technician program is launched in late 1994);
Microsoft Corporation; Novell, Inc. or Banyan Systems, Inc. All resellers
who wish to become a Premier Partner must apply for inclusion, regardless
of prior Artisoft reseller status.

Program Benefits

A benefit of both programs is that partners are recognized by end users as
qualified sources for the sale and support of Artisoft and Eagle
Technology networking products. Artisoft plans to generate end user
awareness by aggressively promoting these reseller designations in
nationwide advertising.

As part of the partnership, Artisoft provides each program with toll-free
priority technical support, sales referrals, advance communication of new
products and programs, regional briefings, product technical training and
sales and marketing support including a media kit. (For a more complete

release.)

Because the Premier Partner program asks a greater commitment from its
partners, Artisoft offers additional services to this group. Premier
Partners also have a dedicated group of senior Artisoft technical support
representatives, individual account managers, customized field sales
support, and market development funds.

Application Process

Those interested in joining either program must complete an application and
a product knowledge test, which is included with the application package.
Advantage Partners are tested on basic knowledge of networking, personal
computers, and Artisoft and Eagle Technology products. Premier Partners
are tested on the same topics, but they must also demonstrate more
specific knowledge of certain Artisoft and Eagle Technology products.

The annual product knowledge test is necessary to remain certified in
either program. If necessary, training courses are available in a
self-paced study or classroom format for those who want to prepare for the

Certified Consultant program. The Certified Consultant program provides
