EIDOLON BEGINS SHIPPING MILLENNIUM AUCTION, THE FIRST PRODUCT IN A WHOLE
NEW GENRE OF "INTELLITAINMENT" STRATEGY GAMES WITH BROAD AUDIENCE APPEAL

Launch Set at World-Renowned Auction House; Product Proceeds to be Donated
to Charity

NEW YORK, NY (June 27,1994) -- Eidolon, Inc., has begun shipping Millennium
Auction, its first title in a whole new genre of exciting CD-ROM-based
"intellitainment" strategy games with broad based appeal. Combining
state-of-the-art cinematic production techniques, astonishing 3-D
animation and graphics, an intelligent storyline, well-developed
characters and socially aware humor, Millennium Auction challenges players
to bid, bluff, buy and sell the world's most coveted treasures. A fresh,
visually and mentally stimulating alternative to the typical shoot-'em-up
and race-'em-up story lines of games currently dominating the market,
Millennium Auction breaks both the gender and generation gaps. Millennium
Auction is being distributed by Electronic Arts Distribution in both
software stores and mass market outlets.

"Eidolon is producing cutting edge, adult oriented entertainment, which
they've cleverly coined 'intellitainment,' said Nancy Smith, senior vice
president of sales for Electronic Arts. 'We are very confident that
Eidolon products will add to the growth of Electronic Arts as a leading
publisher and distributor of CD-ROM products."

Players compete against the world's most wily collectors in a future "One
World Society," where the treasures of humanity -- including one-of-a-kind
collectibles like former President Bill Clinton's saxophone and such
classic works of art as Van Gogh's "Self Portrait with Bandaged Ear" --
are protected by law, and must be traded under the auspices of the WORLD
BODY AUCTION HOUSE.

Reflecting its auction theme, the world premier of Millennium Auction is
taking place at Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers and Appraisers in New York
City's upper East Side. Phillips, which was founded in London, England in
1796, is the largest privately held auction house and the third largest in
the world. Phillips goal is to make it as easy as possible for individuals
to participate in the international auction process. Millennium Auction is
the perfect trend-setting interactive product for users interested in
learning more about the auction process, while having an immediately
enjoyable and enriching game play experience.

In keeping with the game's vision of harmonious "One World Society" of the
future, proceeds from game sales will be donated to the Organizing
Committee for the People's Decade of Human Rights Education (PDHRE). PDHRE
is an international non-governmental organization created to promote,
develop and enhance mass education and democracy world-wide, facilitated
by educators, social justice and community workers, human rights advocates
and the media. As a result of PDHRE's work, the United nations is
declaring 1995-2005 the Decade of Human Rights. "Footsteps," a sculpture
by Shulamith Koenig, executive director of PDHRE, of Eleanor Roosevelt's
shoes worn during World War II, which is included in Millennium Auction's
treasure-trove of collectibles will be exhibited and auctioned at the
game's premier.

Millennium Auction is designed for "social" game players -- those people
drawn to classic games like Clue and Monopoly for mind engaging fun -- who
may not be interested in action-oriented game play. The growing popularity
of collectibles also makes the game attractive to the millions of
Americans currently involved in collecting everything from antiques, art
and coins to glassware, comic books and toys. Additionally, a game of
Millennium Auction can be completed in less than two hours and offers
options for up to four players, making it perfect for an evening's
entertainment.

Eidolon Vice President of Marketing Lonny Stein noted that the company's
game development philosophy is to integrate the highest level of
multimedia technologies with artistic sensibility and imaginative game
design. Stein stated, "Millennium Auction offers visually-compelling and
mind-challenging 'intellitainment' for the adult market. We are especially
excited about introducing this imaginative, intelligent and exciting game
in an actual auction house environment."

Millennium Auction features an inventory of some 140 auction items to
ensure replayability. To keep each game fresh, random selections of
objects and world events are loaded at game startup, resulting in a unique
game experience every time. Similar to the extra card sets available for
Trivial Pursuit, Eidolon plans to offer users add-on "theme" discs -- such
as sports, rock-'n-roll and space -- to keep the game exciting for years
to come.

Millennium Auction, which is distributed by Electronic Arts, has a
suggested retail price of $69.95. System requirements are Multimedia PC,
100% compatible 386SX or higher, Windows 3.1, 4 MB RAM, a CD-ROM drive
(maximum 350 msec access time), MSCDEX 2.1 or higher driver software, 5 MB
to 10 MB of hard disk space, Super VGA monitor (640 x 480, 256 colors) and
an MPC-compatible sound card. A 486 CPU is recommended for best
performance.
