CHICAGO, IL - June 23, 1994 -- The year: 2200, The planet: Chromos, The
enemy: Titan-Net Robots, The challenge: Capture the Titan-Net command
center utilizing all your strategic skills and save the world of Chromos.
Just one wrong move, one hasty action...will annihilate you .

The first CD-ROM-based science fiction war game with realistic 3D graphics
and animated battle sequences will be available from Accolade in
September. No other sci-fi war game today combines futuristic graphics,
simple on-screen interface, and an intricate storyline for hours of
gameplay. Battle Isle 2200 is an easy, fast play for the novice gamer, but
has the depth and complexity to challenge even the most skilled
strategist. The game can be played by a single user or by five players who
communicate to each other by a local area network or using e-mail via an
electronic bulletin board.

Game Features

Using an easy-to-use point and click mouse interface, you'll experience all
20 campaign scenarios from the Master Strategist's perspective using the
on-screen Mil-Op computer console. You will receive instructions from the
high command and learn about weather conditions in your battle region.
Gamers have the unique opportunity to view individual battles from an
animated 3D perspective, and to plan their next move from a colorful and
detailed top down, bird's eye view. When networked, the up-to-five garners
can battle head-to-head, heightening the intensity, and adding to the
replayability of the scenarios.

To assist gamers with air, ground and sea deployment tactics, players have
immediate access to an online database, and can view more than 50 3D
futuristic robot weapons of war. Throughout the game you can activate
tanks, ships, and planes and construct roads, railroads, bridges and forts
to support your robots.

The Story

You are transported to the planet Chromos to become the Master Strategist
of the Drullian Defense Council (DDC). From the ROOM military command
center you combat Titan-Net, a group of evil robot zealots out to dominate
the planet Chromos. Intensifying the precarious situation are the
advancing renegade forces, DDC's own internal politics, and the ever
changing dynamics of Chromos, both natural and man made. Evil and corrupt
forces continuously advancing against you--never before has your tactical
savvy been so challenged.

Can you save Chromos? An army of enemy robots is betting that one false
move will be your last! Glory to the ROOM!
