Technical Specifications

Basic Controls

* Hoisting and reefing sails, rudder control, sheet control, helmsman and
crew position, adjusting mast trim and centre board depth

* Program control is realized by utilizing the optional Sail Simulator
control unit, a mouse, joystick, or by direct input from the keyboard.

* Auto Sail - features automatic sail control for optimum performance.

* Auto Crew - ensures that the crew are in the best position possible.

* Auto Pilot - choose between compass, wind vane, or GPS control. Used in
conjunction with the auto sail and auto crew features, a predetermined
course can be sailed automatically; making this a superb demonstration
feature.

Maneuvers

* Come about, gybe, anchor, moor, run aground, sail on engine, paddle, man
over-board, collision, righting the boat, etc.

Navigation

* Coastal navigation using patent-log and bearing compass, or navigation
with a GPS receiver.

* Echo-sounder with depth alarm

* Electronic chart, with zoom in and out, shifting, and other visual
possibilities.

* Route planning using waypoints. Determine your route in advance and then
try to follow it as closely as possible. The tracking given on the chart
will show how good you are.

Conditions

* Adjustable wind-speed (0-12 Beaufort), direction and turbulence.
Adjustable current strength and direction or

* Let the computer decide what the weather will be, surprised by a
refreshing breeze or a sudden calm.

* Water depth, wind strength, and wave height depend on your position in
the sailing area.

Sail Simulator Cup

Take part in the Sail Simulator Cup regatta. The essence of the regatta is
to cover a specified route in the shortest time possible. With multiple
competitors, different crews can try and break each others record times.
Sail a predetermined regatta or create your own.
